Born and raised in Brazil, Roberto Brito started drawing and painting at a young age. Despite his talent in art, he studied Social Communications in a University in Brasilia, DF, Brazil. But along all his young age he attended private classes of drawing and painting. His artistic signature is Robritto.
Roberto Brito uses oil on canvas through out he shows the public the mysterious atmosphere released by light and dark/shades of his paintings. His goal is to demonstrate the rich Brazilian diversity of culture. Once he has an inspiration, the painter is methodic in his way of working in a new sequence of paintings. He needs to evoke a very tight relation to the process of creation elaborating sketches, chromatic studies and color textures as well as a period of time to think about how his imagination is going on. The painter`s effort is to achieve a personal style and to show his artwork as an original and inventive artistic manifestation.
He lives today in France where he shows his artworks in private galleries and in official cultural manifestations.
On March 2012 he showed his artworks in his first individual exhibition supported by the France financial institution "Credit Agricole" and on March/April he showed his artworks in the Biennial of European and Latin America Contemporary Art, Porto, Portugal.
In 2011 he was nominated the "Laureat 2011" in "Eiffel en Fête" Contest, in Paris. He presented his artworks in the last recent years in; "Salon des Artistes-Peintres et des Sculpteurs du 15° arrondissement de Paris"; "ArtShopping – Exposition d'Art Contemporaine" in "Carrousel du Museum du Louvre; in "Coffee and its Tropical Colours Exhibition", Finland; in "Art en Talent Exhibition", in "Grand Palais", Paris.
